Background Dr Temishi Mary Onwordi, teaches in the Department of Sociology and Criminology studies in the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences in University of Delta, Agbor, Delta State. Her area of interest is in Development, Social change and Gender issues. She was employed at the university on October 8th, 2021 as a lecturer II She started her lecturing career in 2011, as a graduate assistance in the General /Foundation Unit of the Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu, Delta State. She was once the Head of Department in the General studies unit and was later appointed as the Dean, Student Project in the institution. Helping in building young minds on how to write research work and coordinating all research work from various Departments. She had all are degrees from Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State from the Department of Sociology under the Faculty of Social Science. She has published articles in local, national and international journals. She is a Christian and happily married with children. Her hobby includes traveling and singing.
